A seminar to be held next Friday, February 7th, 2020 at the Wyndam Grand Rio Mar Golf and Beach Resort will feature former FBI San Juan Special Agent in Charge, Douglas Leff, and other industry experts who will speak about Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

The day-long event is organized by the law firm of Zeichner Ellman and Krause.

Sessions will include Wendy Perry, President of the Pharmaceutical Industry Association of Puerto Rico, sharing stories of resiliency and success in doing business in Puerto Rico; attorney Aixa Maldonado discussing the increase in Department of Justice prosecutions and regulatory and enforcement actions against corporations and their employees; George Washington University Professor Kyle Welch on counterintuitive findings regarding the welfare of corporations with active whistleblower systems; and Leff, about the signs of corrupt solicitation, corporate versus individual defense, and the do’s and don’ts in the event of a government investigation.
