Ada Monzón Joins the NotiCel Team
Ada Monzón, the top-searched personality in Puerto Rico during 2017 in the Google search engine has joined the NotiCel team, bringing with her expert weather-related content to the first and only digital daily in Puerto Rico.
Monzón has 30 years of experience as a meteorologist and has become the go-to weather expert in Puerto Rico, with a media presence that includes social media, radio and even television, and that now includes NotiCel.

Monzón's performance, particularly during the emergency related to the hurricanes, has garnered her many awards. Most recently, the Federal Alliance for Safe Houses named her National Meteorologist of the Year, for her service to the community and her commitment to citizen safety during weather-related disasters.
She is the only professional meteorologist with a Masters in Tropical Meteorology in the mainstream media of Puerto Rico, and the first woman Fellow of the American Meteorologist Society (AMS). She began her career in 1989 as a forecaster and warning and preparation meteorologist at the forecast office of the National Meteorologist Service of San Juan.
Along with her work as a meteorologist, Monzón has turned her enthusiasm and commitment to the development of the ExoExploratorio Museo de Ciencias de Puerto Rico, an independent civic project that promotes scientific and technological education.
