La segunda edición del festival Rock in Vivo será este próximo sábado, 15 de junio, a las 7:00 pm en Vivo Beach Club de Isla Verde con un cartel en el que figuran los regresos de Dokken y Quiet Riot y el estreno en Puerto Rico de Lita Ford.

Dokken surgió en la escena del hard rock en el año 1983. Su éxito 'Breaking the Chains' se posicionó rápidamente número 1 en las listas tanto en Estados Unidos, Latinoamérica, Europa y Asia. Sus álbumes 'Tooth and Nail', 'Under Lock and Key', 'Back for the Attack' y 'Beast from the East' fueron multi-platinos por sus ventas de millones de copias.

Actualmente, Dokken está compuesto por Don Dokken (cantante), Mick Brown (batería), Jon Levin (guitarra) y Chris McCarvill (bajo). Puerto Rico volverá a escuchar canciones clásicas como: 'Alone Again', 'Just Got Lucky', 'Into the Fire', 'In My Dreams', 'Unchain the Night', 'Dream Warriors', 'Burning like a Flame', 'Heaven Sent' y, por supuesto, 'Breaking the chains' durante su presentación en Rock in Vivo 2.

Ford despuntó con el dueto que realizó junto a Ozzy Osbourne titulado: 'Close My Eyes Forever', que permaneció por semanas número 1 en las listas de radiodifusión. Rápidamente la cantante y guitarrista colocó número 1 en las listas el tema 'Kiss Me Deadly'. Nominada al Grammy como 'Mejor Artista Femenina del Rock', estuvo en el Top 10 con su sencillo 'Fire in My Heart'. Otros éxitos que interpretará durante su presentación en Puerto Rico son: 'Gotta Let Go', 'Hungry' y el clásico 'Lisa', que dedicó a su madre cuando falleció de cáncer.

Quiet Riot es otras de las agrupaciones rockeras que forma parte de esta actividad. Sus éxitos 'Metal Health' y 'Cum On Feel the Noize' contribuyeron grandemente a la escena del 'heavy metal' en la década de los ochenta. Se encuentran entre la lista de Los 100 Mejores Artistas de Hard Rock de VH1. Su más reciente álbum 'Road Rage' copó los primeros lugares de difusión en Estados Unidos y Europa. James Durbin (vocalista), Frankie Banali (baterista), Chuck Wright (bajista) y Alex Grossi (guitarrista) componen esta afamada agrupación que tocará todos sus éxitos en una intervención llena de energía.
